| Kelly Pops Two Homers in 11-6 Win for California | Spirited fans greeted the Milwaukee Milkmen for their clash with the California Dreamers.
The California Dreamers trumped the Milwaukee Milkmen, 11-6, at Milkmen Ballpark. California first baseman Jerry Kelly was terrific. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. The 5th-place Dreamers are 19-23.
Ben Gladys, who finished 3rd in the FL in slugging percentage with .516 in 2045, aided the California cause with a 2-run double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder was 1-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Kelly said.
