Generals Top Grizzlies in Extras, 3-1 | The Washington Generals racked up a win at Nat Bailey Stadium, bumping off the Vancouver Grizzlies, 3-1. Mike Laino, who started for Washington, pitched effectively for his team. The win puts Washington at 56-46 this season.
Washington needed the clutch hitting of Ivan Zamorano to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Generals on top, 3-1. For the game, Zamorano had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
