| Milkmen Beat Seawolves, 4-1 | The Milwaukee Milkmen got a good effort from starter Bob Cuomo in defeating the Erie Seawolves at Milkmen Ballpark. The final score was 4-1. The triumph puts Milwaukee at 84-58 for the season.
Contributing to the Milwaukee win was Daniel Peña. In the bottom of the sixth, the 20-year old shortstop had a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-1, the Milkmen in front.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Peña told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
